new legislation
to address the issue of three children that
had been diagnosed with encephalitis, one
that had died and several more that were
exhibiting symptoms.
A camera man says that he knows someone whose
school would not even break the tabs on the hand
sanitizers. The school is then "technically "able to say
that they are meeting the governor's executive order of
having the hand sanitizers at the school, but the school
saves money because without the tabs broken, the
hand sanitizers obviously cannot be used and won't
have to be re-filled!

This was a meeting against the construction of a daycare, high school and YMCA by David Cicilline and the
city council on the contaminated Gorham Manufacturing, Adelaide Ave. Brownfield site.  The school opened
in September 2007.  This makes the third school finished by David Cicilline’s administration built on
contaminated grounds.

Chris and fellow members of the S.O.C.K coalition rally to re-open the South Side Boys and Girls Clubs after
David Cicilline's  administration did nothing for one year to re-open the club.  Young stated at the rally,  “Kids are
dying on these streets and shooting each other, they need this place re-opened!”

After successful community activism we were able to force David Cicilline and the city council to fund
renovations and the reopening of the club. We still demand the financial books be opened to members of the
S.O.C.K coalition.  Chris demanded an investigation into the possible attempted sale of the property involving a
possible racketeering activity.
