This was a meeting against the construction of a daycare, high school and YMCA by David Cicilline and the
city council on the contaminated Gorham Manufacturing, Adelaide Ave. Brownfield site.  The school opened
in September 2007.  This makes the third school finished by David Cicilline’s administration built on
contaminated grounds.
See the legislation we wrote in opposition.
Chris and fellow members of the S.O.C.K coalition rally to re-open the South Side Boys and Girls Clubs after
David Cicilline's  administration did nothing for one year to re-open the club.  Young stated at the rally,  “Kids are
dying on these streets and shooting each other, they need this place re-opened!”

After successful community activism we were able to force David Cicilline and the city council to fund
renovations and the reopening of the club. We still demand the financial books be opened to members of the
S.O.C.K coalition.  Chris demanded an investigation into the possible attempted sale of the property involving a
possible racketeering activity.

Chris Young produced a document that showed Johnston Mayor Joseph Polisena had gathered
signatures for Jack Reed without addresses on them, which were then affirmed by the canvasser’s
office.  A clear violation of state law.  “There clearly was a rubber stamp put on Mr. Polisena’s
document,” said Young. “Given that, I have to question the impartiality of this board.”

Warwick on Providence Street is a shrine to
Saint Padre Pio. There is a statue of Jesus
there as well.

The shrine was overgrown with weeds this
August, and Chris Young, Kara Russo and
Liliana D'Ovidio cleaned it up a little.

As Chris was cleaning off the statue of
Jesus, he noticed the statue was bleeding
where Jesus' crown of thorns would be.
There was a whole circular droplet of blood
coming down from where a thorn would have
been.

This is a zoomed in  picture of the circular
blood mark.

The time is now the time to fight against evil,
pray to God and prepare for the final battle.
