Campaign for Justice
Christopher Young (Democrat)

I do not take campaign contributions to show that anyone can
run for office in a democracy; that they too can run for office. At
least I am one candidate who will not be influenced by campaign
contributions, since I don't take any campaign contributions.
We have serious issues in Rhode Island when it comes to our
election process. One of these, as stated by my running mate in
the 2002 Providence Mayoral election Keven McKenna, is to
remove the 117 year old voters who live in the Old Burial ground
from the Providence voting list. Again, there is no voice
representing the people on this issue. Only a small portion have
been removed from the 35,000 found in 2002.
In one recent general election voters were told 3 days before the
election to vote in parts of the city where their candidates names
would not even appear on the ballot, yet Cicilline and many of
my opponents did not push for another election. "Change and
hope are needed in our state, and my hope is that you choose
Christopher Young on September 14th, 2010."
